Customer challenge
UEFA-level lighting on 8 pneumatic telescopic masts was required. The system had to use lightweight luminaires to ensure smooth mast movement and long-term reliability as extreme local winds can reach up to 200 km/h. Use of external louvers and optics for glare and spill control, was needed due to airfield and near residential buildings. This required a reinforced design, luminaire number optimization, while touch-screen control lets operators adjust lighting levels based on mast position, creating a safe, efficient and standards-compliant solution.
The solution
AreaVision LED 3.5 gen, Dynalite controller and Dynalite Touch Screen delivered smart UEFA-level lighting with low glare and spill. Pneumatic telescopic masts adapt height to needs, ensuring safety for air traffic and users in all weather conditions without light spillage. Advanced optics and external louvers have helped optimize number of luminaries from 96 to 64 providing low weight and precise illumination for setting a benchmark in innovative, energy-smart sports lighting project in Balkan and greater area.
