Seven Stadium vision was to transform its lighting system by replacing the existing LED lights. This initiative aimed to create a world-class experience by improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and optimizing operational costs. By adopting sustainable and innovative solutions, the stadium sought to enhance illumination, extend playing hours, and elevate fan engagement to new levels.
Solution
Signify redefined the stadium’s football lighting by replacing the existing LED floodlights with ArenaVision LED, a high end, broadcast ready sports floodlighting system designed specifically for stadiums and multi purpose venues. ArenaVision provides high output, high uniformity illumination that complies with demanding international sports and TV broadcasting standards, while its robust, efficient LED engines and construction ensure reliability in Dubai’s harsh outdoor conditions. The new luminaires were integrated with the Interact Sports lighting control system, enabling centralised, digital control, advanced scheduling, scene setting for matches and training, and dynamic light shows to enhance event presentation and fan engagement. The Sevens Stadium has solidified its position as a leading sports venue in Dubai, pairing exceptional player and spectator experiences with a strong sustainability profile. The project demonstrates how Signify’s smart lighting solutions can transform venues, optimise operational costs, and support long-term environmental goals.

The Ibn Batouta Stadium in tangier stands as a true showcase of Signify’s cutting-edge lighting technology.
