Customer challenge
Mondrian Gold Coast sets a new benchmark for luxury on Burleigh Beach, where guests expect seamless comfort, intuitive room control, and a consistently elevated stay. The challenge was creating a technology platform that matched the hotel’s design ambitions—uniting lighting, climate, privacy, and service touchpoints while staying subtle, reliable, and effortless. The integrated approach also enhances sustainability through smarter, energy-efficient operation.
The solution
Guest comfort and operational efficiency were paramount. Signify’s Dynalite and Interact for Hospitality were selected for their ability to integrate lighting, HVAC, occupancy sensing, and window coverings into a single, intuitive system. In Queensland's hot climate, this intelligent control optimises energy use and delivers real-time room insights, supporting sustainability goals and giving operators a clear path to ROI while maintaining a seamless luxury experience.
