Grieghallen in Bergen, Norway’s largest combined conference and concert venue, has been a cultural cornerstone since opening its doors in 1978. Hosting over 400 events and attracting around 400,000 visitors each year, it also serves as the home of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Recently, the iconic venue underwent a lighting upgrade by Signify, enhancing its aesthetics, energy efficiency, and functionality.

Customer Challenge
NatureConnect boosts mood and energy in a former shelter. In the “Gjendine” room, which was originally a shelter, lighting was a challenge. The room had no daylight and felt dark and uninviting for meetings.
Solution
As a result, Grieghallen chose Signify’s NatureConnect solution, an innovative lighting system that visually mimics a skylight and recreates the natural daylight cycle. Since installing NatureConnect, Grieghallen has seen a noticeable increase in interest, particularly from potential renters.
