Miami-Dade County, one of the most diverse regions in the U.S., struggled with severe traffic congestion, broadband inequity, and wide income disparities. Underserved neighborhoods lacked access to reliable lighting, connectivity, and essential services, making it harder to ensure safety, mobility, and economic opportunity for all residents.
The Solution
In partnership with Signify, Smart City Capital, and a network of ecosystem collaborators, Miami-Dade is transforming its infrastructure. Connected LED lighting powered by Signify’s Interact platform enables public broadband, EV charging, and traffic solutions—reducing costs, boosting safety, and expanding digital access across every community in the county.
