In this most recent edition, three Philips Hue products were feted in the Home category.

    • Philips Hue Play
    • Philips Hue app 3.0
    • Philips deco LED giant

Let’s look at each in a little more detail…

    Philips Hue Play

    Philips Hue Play

Philips Hue Play has a slim and smooth shape, able to shine light in up to 16 million different colors. Its features go beyond the ones an ambiance light has, with the possibility to enhance the gaming and home cinema experience by projecting the dominant color on screen to the wall surface behind, after the devices are synchronized via the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box and Philips Hue Sync app.
    Philips Hue app 3.0

    Philips Hue app 3.0

The Philips Hue app 3.0, available for Android and iOS, has recently been updated with enhanced functionality including voice control, customizable light routines, location awareness and sensor integration. These features allow the user to further refine and tailor their lighting experience and enable advanced home automation.

The 16 million colors can recreate up to 30 different scenes, from a Hawaiian sunset to a night out in London's Soho district, simply by tapping the app. A picture-to-light algorithm is capable of extracting the prominent colors from a photo and diffusing them in the surroundings, allowing your pictures to come to life.
    Philips deco LED giant

    Philips deco LED giant

Philips Hue Play and the Philips Hue app 3.0, appear modern and even futuristic. The Philips deco LED giant is inspired by vintage, filament bulbs, throwing back to simpler times. But appearance doesn’t mean essence, as these energy-efficient bulbs are 100% LED, and can be faded down evenly until it’s a warm glow, suitable for family gatherings around the radio.

It’s this cutting edge technology and throwback aesthetic that earned the Philips deco LED giant its awards nod.
