Signify strengthens its professional lighting portfolio with outdoor specification luminaires

The company’s full range of professional outdoor luminaire portfolio will transition to the Signify brand in a series of phased rollouts that will take place throughout 2026.

In 2026, Signify, the world leader in lighting, will be expanding on its long-term brand strategy. The introductions of new product families under the Signify brand reflect the company’s commitment to high-quality sustainable products, connected systems, and services engineered for optimal performance. The introductions also underscore the Signify brand’s growing role in its portfolio of high-performance, energy efficient and circular lighting solutions.

A coordinated transition

Selected sports and road lighting families were moved to the Signify brand in 2025. In Europe, 27 specification luminaire families will move to the Signify brand in 2026. The first phase of the rollout is scheduled for May, with additional product families scheduled for release in June, September, and October.

In Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and South America, all specification sports luminaires will transition to the Signify brand by July 1, 2026. All road, solar, tunnel, and floodlighting specification luminaires will follow by the end of the year.

Portfolio clarity without operational disruption

While the branding shift is significant from a portfolio perspective, Signify’s products will remain the trusted products that customers have come to expect from the company, ensuring stability and continuity.

Lighting professionals will be able to continue specifying and ordering Signify products without any significant changes to established workflows.

Enhancing the specification experience

As part of the brand transition, the company is updating its websites, tools, product collateral, and other digital assets to improve navigation Signify’s extensive portfolio of professional lamps, luminaires, systems, and services.

The goal is a more streamlined, intuitive experience, with easier access to technical information—particularly valuable in complex specification environments where clarity and speed are critical.

According to Sophie Breton, President, Professional Business, Europe at Signify, the move is ultimately about usability as much as brand positioning.

We want to make working with Signify simpler and more intuitive for our customers. By expanding the Signify product brand across more of our broad specification portfolio, we create a clearer and more consistent experience while maintaining continuity.”

Key product families in transition

The transition encompasses Signify’s full range of outdoor specification luminaires. In Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and South America, products already available under the Signify brand include:

  • ActiStar Large – A high-output floodlight designed for efficient spill light control and optimized total cost of ownership
  • GreenVision Xceed Pro – A flexible, high-efficacy road lighting solution focused on sustainability

In Europe, notable product families transitioning in 2026 include:

  • Iridium gen4 Mini – Road lighting designed for visual comfort and operational efficiency
  • OptiVision LED gen3.5 – Advanced floodlighting for sports and large-area applications
  • CitySoul gen2 LED Mini – Decorative urban lighting combining aesthetics with energy performance

A multi-brand ecosystem

While the Signify brand is taking a more prominent role, it will continue to sit alongside established brands within the company’s portfolio, including Philips and Color Kinetics. The company’s website will remain the primary hub for accessing its professional portfolio, with ongoing enhancements designed to support faster product discovery and improved usability.

As the 2026 rollout progresses, Signify’s approach signals a broader industry trend toward portfolio simplification and digital-first specification tools—without compromising the technical consistency on which lighting professionals depend.
