Signify’s commitment to cutting-edge innovation and user-friendly design has been recognized at the 2019 iF Design Awards.
The Philips Hue app won in the Communications Design category and ten different products were recognized for Product Design.
iF has been the international standard for cutting-edge design since 1953. That was the year Philip Rosenthal, together with the Hannover Trade Fair company (Hannover Messe) got together to draw attention to particularly well-designed industrial products.
For 66 years their objective has been to communicate the importance of design and its possibilities for users, brands and society. This year, 67 international jurors from 20 countries judged 6,400 entries from 50 countries.

Philips Hue 3.0
With improved usability and new features, this latest app version invites the mass consumer market into the world of connected lighting. Featuring a new digital design language and methodology, Philips Hue App 3.0 introduces new ways of controlling and managing a home lighting system.

The Philips Hue Liane is a white and color wall light that can be synced with music and movies, like all Philips Hue lights. Its sleek design adds a modern touch to home interiors, placing an emphasis on the indirect light which influences our mood and behavior.
Philips Hue Outdoor Lightstrip
Thin and compact, the Philips Hue Outdoor Lightstrip provides light in places that traditional designs can’t reach. It’s an excellent way to accentuate the contours of facades, porches and fences. The subtle design is completely watertight and it connects via safe and secure Philips low-volt cables.

Philips High Lumen Master LEDspot
The premium light of the Philips High Lumen master LEDspots closely mimics halogen’s high color rendering, without the harsh, cold light of some LED lamps. Long-lasting, efficient and compatible with most halogen fixtures, they minimize operating and maintenance costs.
Philips MasterConnect LEDtube
The Philips MasterConnect LEDtube is a simple way to upgrade to a connected lighting system. Through dimming, occupancy sensing and/or daylight harvesting, it can deliver at least a 50% energy reduction compared to conventional lamps. The 2.4 GHz wireless mesh networking technology reliably and securely integrates with various control devices.
Philips Ledalite EyeLine
The thin, modular panels of the Philips EyeLine offer a range of direct and indirect light combinations to match any interior. Glare-free LED illumination is complemented by robust performance, and the curved ends add soft transition in geometry and lightness.
Philips SmartBright Road
The compact and slim Philips SmartBright IP65 is a new generation road lamp. Delivering maximum thermal efficiency, its simple top surface design and ‘light only’ approach minimizes material use to focus on light output.
Philips TownTune
This range of urban luminaires offers a variety of modular accessories that lets customers play with the design. From new, modern icons to traditional archetypes the customer-led configurations allow the line to fit diverse environments.
Philips GreenPerform Highbay Elite / Philips Coreline Highbay
The new generation Philips GreenPerform Highbay Elite/ Philips Coreline Highbay is a lightweight luminaire that uses a compact driver and circular LED board to provide better thermal management. This creates a simple overall profile. The strong black/silver contrast gives an extra-premium feel.
