Lighting Isn’t Illumination. It’s Infrastructure.

For most of the last century, lighting has been treated as a fixed utility, something you install once, aim at a surface, and forget. But the research is clear: light shapes cognition, mood, decision-making, dwell time, even social behavior. It is not decoration. It is infrastructure that runs on human behavior, whether we design it that way or not.

Meanwhile, the industry's biggest player is quietly rewriting the rules.
