On February 10, 2026, a jury in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada returned a verdict in favor of Signify in a patent infringement case involving companies selling LED-based lighting products under the LE, Lighting Ever and Lepro brands.
Following a seven-day trial, the jury found that all six asserted Signify patents were infringed, that the infringement was willful, and that none of the patents were invalid. The jury also awarded Signify its full damages for past infringement and determined the royalty rates associated with the patented technologies.
The verdict reinforces the strength and validity of Signify’s LED patent portfolio and highlights the importance of obtaining licenses for Signify’s widely used patented LED technologies, including technologies related to power management, tunable white lighting, thermal management, and connectivity and smart functionality.
