Euroluce was held in Milan from 8-13 April 2025, and the 3Days of Design took place in Copenhagen from 18-20 June 2025. Members of the Signify EnabLED licensing team attended these two major European design and decorative lighting exhibitions.
The importance of LED technology in decorative lighting is growing due to its versatility, energy efficiency, and ability to create artistic effects. LEDs offer dimming capabilities and a range of colours and scenes via smart home systems, enabling the creation of dynamic lighting designs.
The design trends observed at these two exhibitions focus on creating ambience and atmosphere, as well as lighting effects through different materials.
European manufacturers are also showing increased interest in sustainability, both through the use of more sustainable materials and through greater energy efficiency.
Through the technologies available in the EnabLED lighting programme, Signify provides lighting companies with a valuable opportunity to develop in the design market. The programme offers a range of possibilities, including optimising dimmability and tunability, and transforming the lighting experience into artistic creations through lighting control, pixelated colour-changing experiences, human-centric lighting and atmosphere creation, among other possibilities.
Another key area of focus for Signify and the EnabLED programme is improving the efficiency of lighting, with the aim of providing the lighting industry with even more sustainable solutions.
Hong Kong’s International Lighting Fair 2025 (autumn edition) took place from 27-29 October and was attended by members of Signify’s EnabLED team and offered various opportunities to engage with numerous license partners.
The next big trade show will be Light&Building in Frankfurt in March 2026. The EnabLED team will be there and is looking forward to an inspiring event.
