Impact of Signify’s Licensing Program recognized: 1500th licensee welcomed

The continuous investment of Signify in innovation and improvements in LED lighting technology is valued by an increasing number of companies worldwide. Recently Signify’s EnabLED Licensing Program for LED-based luminaires and retrofit bulbs welcomed its 1500th license partner since its start in 2008. This also means that 100 new companies have become licensees in the past ten months.

By participating in the Program licensees can benefit from a rich set of technologies, like Connected LED lighting technology, Filament based LED products and Human centric lighting.

At this moment, the EnabLED Licensing Program offers access to more than 600 inventions, covering more than 5,000 patents worldwide. Recently new technologies were added to the patent portfolio, for example, connectivity technologies like antennas, commissioning, smart control and sensoring.
