We offer our strategic suppliers a development program designed to help them improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operational processes. Over a period of three months, we engage with our suppliers in a joint effort to identify potential improvements and savings in every aspect of the business, ultimately leading to an agreed implementation plan and quantified benefits.
Phase 1: Select eligible suppliers, together identify improvement opportunities, agree on targets and define how to achieve them.
Phase 2: Implementation, in which Philips provides a series of tools, such as self-assessment questionnaires and value stream mapping, to help the supplier implement, monitor and sustain the agreed improvements.
