Lighting the cycling track for rider safety without disturbing the Ghaf forest ecosystem, all while minimizing energy consumption requiring a carefully balanced, and sustainable environment.
Solution
Signify deployed 300 UrbanFlex luminaires built with smart sensors that detect motion in real time activating light only where it is needed, exactly when it is needed. Each luminaire delivers, high efficacy of up to 160lm/w and features a Signify service tag for fast QR based maintenance. The installation cuts energy use by over 80% while advancing Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan.
