Signify ranks among Europe’s most sustainable corporations by Corporate Knights
- Achieves 6th overall and 1st in the Netherlands in Europe 50 ranking
Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, is proud to announce it has ranked sixth overall and 1st in the Netherlands in Corporate Knights’ Europe’s 50 Most Sustainable Corporations ranking. This recognition builds on Signify’s ranking earlier this year in Corporate Knights' Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the world, further reinforcing the company’s leadership in sustainability both globally and across Europe.
The Corporate Knights Europe 50 is a newly launched regional ranking based on the same rigorous methodology used for the renowned Global 100 index. Signify’s high placement reflects its strong performance across a comprehensive set of sustainability indicators including sustainable revenue and investment, resource management and responsible innovation.

The Europe 50 ranking is open to all companies listed in the STOXX Europe 600 Index, as well as the top 100 Europe-headquartered publicly traded companies as defined by the Global 100 methodology. The assessment draws on publicly disclosed data to ensure transparency and comparability across industries.
In January, Signify was also ranked among the top performers in the 2025 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, affirming its position as a global sustainability leader.
