Eindhoven, Netherlands – Philips has introduced four new motorcycle lamp solutions, which provide an extremely high light output on the road, thereby ensuring that the rider has better vision at night and that other road users can also see the rider more easily. The "Philips Vision Moto", "Philips CityVision Moto", "Philips X-tremeVision Moto" and "Philips BlueVision Moto" are designed to not only increase road safety and greater durability – they are also notable for their styling.
Safety on the road starts with appropriate lighting
For motorcyclists and scooter riders, safety depends on a combination of factors, including brakes, tyre quality and protective clothing. But everything begins with effective lighting. These new innovative solutions clearly improve visibility for the driver and to other urban road users.
All four high-performance lamps have an optimized filament, are made of high-quality quartz glass for maximum UV resistance, and feature an extra duty holder which can withstand strong vibrations (up to15G) caused by potholes, for example. The lamps’ adapted gas pressure and gas composition ensure maximum durability, which means they do not have to be changed as frequently.
Philips Vision Moto – affordable light without compromise on light quality
Philips Vision Moto, with up to 30% more light output than standard lamps, is suitable for all motorcyclists and scooter riders who rely on high quality at a reasonable price.
Philips CityVision Moto – better visibility and differentiation in city traffic
Thanks to the orange reflection in the headlamp and up to 40% stronger output of light onto the road, Philips CityVision Moto improves visibility to other road users in the city.
Philips X-tremeVision Moto – maximum output for maximum view
At night, Philips X-tremeVision Moto projects up to 100% more light onto the road than standard lamps. This is a very significant safety benefit for riders on poorly lit country roads and dark lanes in particular.
Philips BlueVision Moto – individual design with distinctive touch
The stylish Philips BlueVision Moto combines lighting with a xenon look and maximum vibration resistance. Road signs, small obstacles and sources of danger can be seen more easily at night thanks to its powerful blue light. As a special extra, the UV quartz glass at the tip is coated in blue, which gives the bulb a distinctive design and visual effect in the headlamp, and white light on the road.
