    Maurice Loosschilder is the Global Head of Sustainability Strategy and Reporting at Signify. His team has been driving the carbon neutral program and achieved the carbon neutral status for Signify.


    In 2016, Maurice developed and launched Signify’s ‘Brighter Lives, Better World’ and more recently, in September 2020 Signify launched its new program Brighter Lives, Better World 2025. These are strong sustainability programs with ambitious commitments to improve Signify’s positive impact on the environment and society. He is responsible for the execution of these programs and for internal and external reporting on the progress.


    Prior to his current role, Maurice held the position of Director Collection and Recycling and international WEEE board member and several roles in pricing and IT program management.


    Maurice graduated Cum Laude from the Technical University of Eindhoven and holds a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and started working for Philips Lighting/Signify in 2007.

    Maxfield leads CDP’s Corporate Engagement team in Europe, working to support companies in building an economy that works for people and the planet, by measuring environmental impact and driving action in their operations and global supply chains. Previously, he oversaw the environmental supply chain responsibility program at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), creating the world’s first supply chain management program based on climate science. Maxfield was recognized as part of the 2018 Environmental Leader 75 list of elite environmental managers for his achievements at HPE. Prior to this, he was the Vice President of Insights for CDP North America, leading thought leadership and partnership strategy and was also an international regulatory policy analyst for the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Maxfield graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science & Policy. He also holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies as well as Society and the Environment from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Per 8 September 2020, Signify is carbon neutral in its operations and uses 100% renewable electricity. Now, Signify embarks on a new, five-year journey to double its positive impact on the environment and society.
