    Our commitment

Global temperatures are rising. The last five years were the hottest ever recorded. In 2016, the Paris Agreement set a commitment to keep the global average temperature within 2°C above pre-industrial levels.

Signify aims to double the pace of the Paris Agreement over the complete value chain, both in our operations and by enabling customers to advance their positive climate impact with our energy efficient and solar products, systems and services. We contribute to Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 7 by committing to increase Climate action revenues to 72% by the end of 2025.

    Energy efficient and connected lighting

Switching to LED lighting can reduce energy consumption by up to 50%. When LEDs are connected, the reduction can even be up to 80%. In our connected lighting systems, LEDs with integrated sensors are connected to application software. This makes it possible to automate and optimize light settings for different applications and to provide the right light levels at the right time and in the right place.

Our solar lighting solutions are not only energy efficient, but also generate their own energy through solar power. This makes them carbon neutral in their operations.

Our solar lighting solutions are good for the environment and help our customers achieve their climate goals. Moreover, they allow us to bring light to areas without access to the grid.
