Ten Signify products win prestigious iF Design Awards 2020

iF Design Awards elected 10 of Signify’s lighting products winners of the iF DESIGN AWARDS 2020
 

For 67 years, the iF Design Awards has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. The iF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF Design Award is one of the most important design prizes in the world.
 

At the end of January, a jury of 78 international design experts reunited in Hamburg to pore over 7,298 entries from 56 countries over a period of three days. Signify’s designers showed their pedigree by taking ten design awards.

A sustainable, minimalist design for roadway lighting. The striking shape of the metal luminaire gives a compact, clean and modern look. A focused design concept decreases the size of the unit and removes extraneous decorative elements to dramatically reduce the materials required for production.

Philips Hue in-store app gen2


Demonstrating smart, controlled, atmospheric lighting can be challenge in-store without the Philips Hue in-store app. The Philips Hue in-store app gen2 is a premium Point of Sale tablet app offering a 360-degree immersive experience. With its easy-to-use and visually attractive interface, the app makes important information accessible, in a single place.

Philips Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor


Designed to be compact and unobtrusive yet robust and fully watertight. Intended for outdoor use, it combines a larger lens for the wider range of vision necessary with a cover lid that avoids false triggers from animals and trees.

Philips Hue Smart Button


Simple, versatile and unobtrusive, controls Hue smart lighting with just a press of a finger. An internal magnet enables it to be mounted on a fridge or metal doorframe, while mini-mount accessories are used for mounting on non-metallic surfaces. The soft silicone of the button is tactile and pleasant while its anti-dust and -dirt coating make it easy to keep clean.

Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance GU10 perfect-fit


This spot creates perfect white and color light in a standard GU10 size that fits most luminaires. Now, any fixture can provide 16 million shades of colored light with a quality of light previously only possible with larger, non-standard bulbs. A color temperature range of 2000 to 6500 K, allows a choice of light all the way from soft white to daylight.

The LumiStreet gen2 family brings smart control to low-end road and street lighting, for more efficient energy usage. Yet their carefully defined light recipe preserves the dark night sky.

Philips MyCreation


Embracing flexibility and creativity, Philips MyCreation uses the latest 3D printing technology and lets customers design their own pendant luminaire. A range of shapes, textures, colors, ceiling caps, cables and bulbs can be configured, via an easy-to-use web interface. Further enhancing the sustainability of the design concept, the luminaire can be made from recycled material.
