Genlyte supported 120+ K-12 and higher education projects in Q2 2026
Bridgewater, New Jersey – Genlyte Solutions, a Signify (Euronext: LIGHT) business, today announced that it supported more than 120 K-12 and higher education projects across the United States during the second quarter of 2026 in preparation for the back-to-school season.
From new school construction and campus expansions to indoor and outdoor renovations, Genlyte’s lighting and controls solutions were specified and ordered for a wide variety of applications, including classrooms, administrative offices, libraries, gymnasiums and athletic facilities, residence halls and parking areas.

“School districts and higher education institutions are investing to create modern, flexible learning environments that support student success and long-term performance,” said Clint MacKeen, Principal, Apex Lighting Solutions. “Working alongside Genlyte Solutions, we're able to bring customers a broad portfolio of trusted lighting and controls brands and the application expertise needed to meet their requirements.”
“Another project highlight is the new Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton, Massachusetts, opening this month,” continued MacKeen. “The breadth of Genlyte's offering enabled multiple brands, including Ledalite, Day-Brite, Lightolier and Gardco, to be utilized. Just as important was the strong collaboration between the Architect, Engineer, Contractor, Apex and Genlyte, which helped bring the design vision to life.”
