Signify US expands WiZ Connected ecosystem

    August 27, 2020

Smart lighting for your daily living: Signify expands its collection of products that work with the WiZ Connected ecosystem in the US

    • Affordable range of smart lights and accessories easily connect to your home’s existing Wi-Fi network, and feature Bluetooth for easy pairing
    • Exclusively available as Philips Wi-Fi LED brand at HomeDepot.com and in Home Depot stores nationwide in September

Somerset, New Jersey – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, today announced the expansion of its affordable WiZ smart lighting system in the United States. The WiZ portfolio now includes smart bulbs in a wider variety of shapes and sizes, an integrated downlight, lightstrip and accessories that put you in complete control of your lighting. You can make any room glow in your favorite color, adjust your shade of white light, from a relaxing, warm white to an energizing, cool daylight, and enjoy pre-set modes to support your daily lighting needs.

Simple, smart lighting for your everyday life

The WiZ Connected products are simple to install. Download the free WiZ app (iOS or Android), screw or plug in the light, and follow the step-by-step guide in the app to complete the setup and start creating your desired ambiance. The new products conveniently connect to your home’s existing Wi-Fi network, as well as come with a dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip for easy pairing and a reliable wireless connection.

You can easily control your lights wherever you are with the WiZ app or voice control with Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Siri shortcuts. One new option is to use the universal WiZmote ($14.97); you can turn your lights on or off, change the brightness, turn on a nightlight setting and choose between four of your favorite light modes or custom scenes. Or try the WiZ motion sensor ($24.97), which enables hands-free control and automatically switches your lights on to your preferred setting as you enter the room. The WiZmote and sensor will work even if the Wi-Fi connection is down, thanks to a low energy RF protocol. And to make your home even more convenient, install the new WiZ smart plug ($15.97) and turn any light into a smart light instantaneously.

    The newest products available

    The WiZ collection now includes:

    • 100-watt-equivalent A21 light bulbs in dimmable soft white (2700K) and daylight (5000K) ($17.97) and in full color with tunable white ($23.97)
    • Tunable white light in the B12 candle ($13.97) and PAR38 ($29.97) form factors
    • Full color with tunable white light in the B12 candle ($15.97), GU10 spotlight ($15.97), a higher-output, 1100 lumen 6” integrated downlight ($26.97), and a lightstrip and extension ($44.97 and $13.97, respectively)

Pricing listed is Home Depot’s current list price for the Philips Wi-Fi LED brand of products that are compatible with the WiZ Connected ecosystem. They will be available at HomeDepot.com and in Home Depot stores nationwide in September. Price subject to change.
