We entered the projector market in 1994, when Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) invented the Philips Ultra High Performance (UHP) Projector lamp. Our first lamp was manufactured in Turnhout, Belgium. It was a breakthrough that transformed the projector market by bringing brightness and performance levels never experienced before.
