    Painting our towns ‘green’ with the Philips Let’s Go Green campaign

The campaign brings the full range of economical mainstream LED lighting solutions onto a single platform - for consumers as well as retailers. This is the first time such a holistic LED platform has been created for Malaysians to enjoy the benefits of new Philips’ retrofit LED lamps, replacement tubes, as well as integrated LED downlights, ceiling lights, battens and more.

    Ghose added that market studies[1] predict almost 70% of the global general lighting demand will comprise of LED lighting solutions by 2020. With LED products already accounting for 34% of Philips’ lighting sales globally, the trend is a catalyst for our efforts to grow the LED lighting market in Malaysia.

    Philips LED lights are quality assured with over 70 reliability tests conducted under stringent conditions to meet international standards. Not only they are more economical, they are also more eco-friendly in the long run. Philips LED bulbs offer up to 85% energy savings compared to over Philips incandescent lamps with a life expectancy up to 15 years under standard usage, at a typical 2.7 hours usage per day. LED lamps do not have filaments or any moveable parts, making them extremely durable and long-lasting. Philips LED bulbs are also mercury-free – preventing the risks of harmful exposure if a light bulb breaks. Furthermore LED solutions offer greater quality of light without any visible flicker, or the worries of harmful UV/IR emissions. It is also easier on the eyes – with minimal glare as well as producing full and even brightness instantly. The LED lights also emit little forward-facing heat thereby preventing damage to art and furniture, while reducing air conditioning costs.

It comes in a mini shape that is even suitable for 2.5” downlight applications. The Philips LED Mini Bulb is now available in Malaysia at an RSP of RM9.90. It is available together with a wide range of LED bulbs to suit all applications.
     

     

    Philips Essential LED Downlights – Compact design for better savings and brightness

    The integrated Philips Essential Gen3 LED Downlights are suitable for consumers who prefer to illuminate their indoor spaces with either cool or warm wide beams of light. They feature low glare diffusers, superior heat management and are easy to install. The Philips Essential LED Downlights are available in a variety of sizes and lumen outputs to cater to most needs. They offer an extremely long lifespan up to 15,000 hours while saving a lot of energy and replacement costs. They are now available in Malaysia at a RSP of RM19.90 onwards.

     

     

    Philips Essential LED Ceiling Lights – Eco lighting for a brighter space

    The integrated Philips Essential Ceiling Lights are designed for flicker-free energy-saving, high colour rendering lighting. Built to resist yellowing and chipping, select models come with add-on rims to complement your décor. This LED solution offers up to 80% energy and replacement cost savings, with innovative technology for even light distribution. Now available in Malaysia at a RSP of RM 49.90 onwards.
     

     

    Philips LED Linea Battens – Trendy design to complement your décor

    The integrated Philips LED Linea battens are all about performance. Shadow free and connectable up to 12 pieces at a time, it is available in 3 lengths and offers up to 20,000 hours of usage with high energy savings. Hence, they are an ideal one-time replacement for the traditional and ubiquitous fluorescent battens.

     

     

    With an integrated LED light source, end-users won't have to worry about maintenance or lamp replacements - while ensuring a bright ambiance. They are now available in Malaysia at a RSP of RM 24.90 onwards. Also available are reliable value-for-money LED tubes for replacement purposes,

    from RM 23.90 onwards.

     

    Philips LED Linea Tape - Bend the rules, bend the light
