User Experience Lead at Philips Hue has been announced as a winner of the Future Tech Awards during CES 2020 in Las Vegas
As legendary Hollywood graphic designer Saul Bass once said, “Design is thinking made visual”. For Bass the process of visualizing thinking resulted in iconic movie posters and title sequences, including GoodFellas, Psycho and The Shining.
For Signify’s David Oldenburger, UX Lead for Philips Hue, the design process results in smart lighting products that transform the home. Actually, we should say “award-winning design process”, as David received a prestigious Bulldog at the Future Tech Awards in the category Future 50.
The awards, presented annually at CES in Las Vegas, recognize outstanding achievement in tech and design.
The Future 50 is the one and only awards of its kind and ranks the most influential individuals in the industry. Nomination is open to everyone including:
The bulldog symbolizes the importance of tenacity and consistency, especially when it comes to reinventing and moving away from the ordinary. And for the team, it’s design with a purpose, “The Hue user experience is best-in-class, which demonstrates our whole company’s focus on the end customer.”
