    BHP Billiton - 171 Collins Street

    BHP Billiton is a world-leading resources company in the oil, gas and minerals sector. They commissioned a highly energy-efficient new office building, which represented a grand feat of design, architecture and technology. Lighting played an important part in the technologically impressive solution for this 6 Green Star office.

    • Controlled by state-of-the-art touchscreen panels

    The Pole House
    Victoria, Australia 


    Suspended some 40 meters above Fairhaven beach on the Great Ocean Road, the iconic Pole House was built in the 1970s and recently underwent a substantial rebuild. As part of the project, a brand new residence has been connected by the walkway.

    Medibank is one of Australia’s largest private health insurer and its building in Melbourne is symbol of the physical and mental well-being the company promotes.  With community spaces, vegetable gardens, a green façade and intelligent lighting, the site has received a 6 Green Star Award and is rated 5 Star NABERS.

    • Lighting programmed to mimic outdoor conditions
    • Deployed using Philips Dynalite
    • DALI fittings across the entire building controlled and monitored centrally by Envision Manager software
