The Philips Lighting UV-C Upper-Air Disinfection Luminaires has been recognised as the most innovative product air quality by The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), a leading professional body for building services engineers and all those associated with the sustainable and built environment.

The recognition is part of the CIBSE Building Performance Awards (BPA). In it’s 15th year, the awards recognise the people, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence in the built environment. The CIBSE BPAs are the only industry awards that focus on actual, measured performance outcomes, and not just design intent or performance specifications. Entries to the awards were open to any organisation, both within the UK and internationally, that is responsible for the design, commissioning, construction, installation and operation of low energy buildings and the manufacturers whose products enable efficient energy consumption.
