In 2025, Signify was also appointed as a FIFA Preferred Provider for stadium floodlighting by FIFA, the world’s governing body for football. Signify meets rigorous product, production and system infrastructure performance requirements. Signify will also work with the FIFA Quality Programme to drive research and development in sports floodlighting, advancing technical standards for the future.
Signify’s sports lighting solutions have been implemented in renowned arenas and stadiums around the world, including Roig Arena in Valencia, Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, Barclays Arena in Hamburg, and Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
In Indonesia, Philips ArenaVision LED floodlighting has been installed at Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Signify’s lighting solution supports the stadium meet FIFA standards following the completion of its facility renovation in 2024. With a capacity of more than 20,000 spectators, the stadium is now equipped with a Signify lighting system that provides optimal visibility for players and spectators. High-quality lighting ensures that every movement, speed, and technical aspect of the game can be seen more clearly, creating a more immersive spectator experience while supporting high-quality sports broadcasting.
