London, UK– Today, Philips announces a new partnership between its Consumer Lighting business and Inman and Co (Electrical) Ltd to supply and service independent retailers with an exciting range of Philips consumer luminaires across the UK.
This latest partnership between Inmans and Philips will begin on 1 April 2011.
The agreement will substantially improve the service and offering available to both Philips’ and Inmans’ existing customers and other sellers of Philips lighting products. Inmans will offer retailers access to wider stockholdings at their three distribution centres in London, Sheffield and Bristol. Customers will also be able to order online and access account information through Inmans’ trade only website www.inmanswebstore.co.uk.
A dedicated team, of field and internal sales people, at Inmans will look after these customers with support provided by Philips’ Area Managers. All independent retailers will have the advantage of more frequent deliveries of stock, allowing them to receive Philips’ products on a regular basis and keep their own stock holding to a minimum.
