    Florida Hospital Orlando Women’s Pavilion
    Florida, United States

    This leading hospital in the south-eastern USA is not only known for its medical care, but also its architectural ‘halo’ – lit with white light throughout the year. The challenge was to ring the changes during periods with special themes or messages, such as Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.

    • East and West sides of the building use custom-built eW Graze QLX Powercore
    • Modified to operate through a DMX-based control systems
    • Control system allows for automatic activation of annual specialty shows

    Curtis Hixon Fountains & Palm Trees
    Florida, United States

    The City of Tampa wanted an inviting experience in the downtown Riverwalk area with a focus on highlighting two existing features of the park – the Curtis Hixon Fountains and nearby cluster of palm trees.  Visitors can now choose to run through the fountains as lights chase each other or simply relax and watch the cascading magic unfold.

    • Eight rows of C-Splash 2 installed, with six units per row
    • ColorBurst Compacts in the palm tree area, each with 41-degree spread lens
    • iPlayer 3 programmed to set up shows related to special events, such as Come out with Pride and NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning games

    Amway Center Spire Icon

    The Amway Center is a major sporting and entertainment venue in downtown Orlando and home to the Orlando Magic basketball team. When the site was being built prior to its opening in 2010, the owners originally envisioned an iconic tower, which would give residents and visitors and idea of the events going on within the venue.

    • Split into 11 sections, each with ColorGraze QLX Powercore
    • Uses an iPlayer 3 control system to store show files
    • Controls linked to building management system, allowing activation from anywhere in the building

    Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center
    Orlando, Florida

    Wanting to make a powerful statement at its main campus in downtown Orlando, this prestigious cancer hospital saw the potential of lighting to bring attention to different causes including Child Cancer Awareness and Autism Awareness. Today, the glass structures are also used to promote the Orlando City Soccer club, which the Center proudly sponsors.

    • Several hundred feet of ColorGraze QLX lined up vertically along the reverse side of three large, frosted glass structures
