    Board of Management

    The Board of Management is responsible for the day-to-day management of Signify. The Board of Management is composed of the following three members.

    Eric Rondolat

    Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Management

    Eric Rondolat has held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management at Signify since the company was listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange in May 2016. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Lighting at Philips from April 2012 to May 2016.

     

    Before Philips, Eric held the position of Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific at Schneider Electric in China from 2010 to 2012 and Executive Vice President for the Power Business at Schneider Electric in France from 2006 to 2010. He worked in various senior management positions at Schneider Electric in Australia, Argentina, France and Singapore from 1990 to 2006.

     

    Eric, a French and Italian national, holds an Engineering degree at the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and a master’s degree in International Marketing at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble, both in France.

    Stéphane Rougeot

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Member of the Board of Management

    Stéphane Rougeot has held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Signify since September 2016 and he has been Member of the Board of Management since May 2017.

     

    Before Signify, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer and President of the Technology Business group at Technicolor in 2016 and worked as CFO and Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management from 2008 to 2014. Before that, Stéphane held various senior management positions at France Telecom – Orange in France from 2003 to 2008 and at Technicolor in France from 1998 to 2003. He also held management positions at Total in France from 1993 to 1998.

     

    Stéphane, a French national, holds a post-graduate degree in International Finance from Paris IX-Dauphine University and a graduate degree from the Institut D’Études Politiques, both in Paris, France.

    René van Schooten

    Member of the Board of Management

    René van Schooten has been a Member of the Board of Management at Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, since the company’s listing on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange in May 2016. He is the leader for Business Groups Lamps and Home. In addition, René assumed overall responsibility for the company’s Business Groups as of April 2017.

     

    Rene was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from October 2015 to August 2016 during the company’s separation from Philips and subsequent initial public offering. Before that, he worked as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Professional Luminaires and as CFO for Lighting and the Lamps Business.

     

    Before Philips, René held various financial roles at Unilever in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands from 1988 to 1999, and Esso in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands from 1982 to 1988.

     

    René, a Dutch national, holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands.
